How to split a PDF into separate pages or sets of pages

How to split a PDF into multiple files when each piece should have the same number of pages—ideal for repeating tax or ops packets. Autosplit can name each piece using fields pulled from that section’s text so bulk client distribution does not require renaming generic files.

Steps

  1. Open Autosplit.
  2. Choose pages per file (e.g. 4 pages per partner section).
  3. Run the split; open the output filename pattern and confirm placeholders (partner, entity, year, page range, etc.) match your firm’s convention.
