What Edit PDF metadata actually does
- View and batch-edit title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer.
What it does not do
- Scrub every forensic trace (fonts, embedded files, XMP quirks)—this edits standard document info fields.
Steps
- Open Edit PDF metadata.
- Upload the PDF(s); clear or set Author/Title to what you want the client to see.
- Download and spot-check File → Properties in a reader.
